AFP - Mobile phone companies in India reacted furiously Wednesday after authorities shut down hundreds of allegedly illegal towers and left tens of thousands of users suffering cut-off calls and no reception.

PC World - The recent flurry of rumors predicting the end of AT&T’s arrangement as exclusive provider of the Apple iPhone were apparently false. In fact, not only did Apple not announce the demise of exclusivity, it doubled down on its exclusive arrangement with AT&T by revealing AT&T as the sole provider of 3G wireless access for the upcoming iPad as well.

NewsFactor - The trend toward TV anywhere took another step forward Thursday as AT&T announced that it will support Sling Media’s mobile application on its 3G network. Sling, whose player app is already in use on the carrier’s Wi-Fi network, released a player for the iPhone late last year.
